I’m Carrie-Anne, a freelance photographer based in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Photography has been part of my life since I was a teenager and in 2020 I finally turned that passion into Shot by Carrie-Anne.

I’m all about natural, relaxed photography, whether I’m shooting weddings, gigs, families, couples or portraits. I love capturing real moments, genuine smiles and those little inbetween bits that make photos feel honest and show real personality.

When I’m not behind the camera, I work full time as the deputy manager of a day nursery. I’ve been working in early years since 2012 at just 16 years old! Whilst it can be tricky juggling full time work alongside photography, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with my fiancé, Lewis (he’s a freelance videographer and we sometimes team up on shoots). We’re both big music lovers and try to get to gigs whenever we can and we share a mutual love of food - whether it’s street food in New York or a tasting menu somewhere fancy, we’re happy either way! Most of my downtime is spent editing photos with The Office or It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia playing in the background and there's usually a cat nearby ♡
